How Embracing Randomness Can Lead to Big Ideas
Creativity is a funny thing, right? Have you ever just sat there staring at a blank page, tapping your fingers, waiting for an idea to come? We’ve all been there, and it can be frustrating.
Then, out of nowhere, bam — something weird or unexpected happens, and suddenly you’re full of inspiration. That’s what randomness does, and I think we should appreciate it more.
One time, I was working on a website design for a client. I had this perfect idea in my head — great layout, vibrant colors, and everything in place — but it still felt boring.
So, I took a break, walked into the kitchen, and saw my dog chasing his tail like crazy. Right then, I thought, “Why not add some chaos to the design?”
I started playing around with uneven layouts, threw in some funky colors, and bam — it worked. The client loved it, and more importantly, it felt alive. Randomness, that little bit of unpredictability, was exactly what I needed.
