I started here in the 1980's:

Wang VS 100 Terminal Attached to a Minicomputer.

Now I’m here:

Laptop, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD Attached to a 55 inch Monitor

I spent my first 10 years in IT working for the US government building computer systems with applications. In early 1990’s I went to work as an contract consultant for much better pay.

In 1995 I set up a consulting company and began hiring employees and subcontracting to US Government Prime Contractor. I wasn’t much of a marketer and I depended on the Prime for that. I personally worked on some side jobs and had my employees do the government contract work. Eventually the Prime lost the contract. The new Prime hired all of my employees so I was on my own. In 2016 I closed my corporation an set up a one person LLC.

By 2001 I was working completely with internet applications. I worked with all of the major web development frameworks both front end and backend. In 2018 I settled on Svelte for the front end and various SQL and non-SQL databases.
